What is Grief?

Grief is the deep emotional pain and natural response to a significant loss. It includes intense sadness, longing, and a range of changing emotions as you come to terms with what is gone.

Grief Therapy

While grief is often linked to the death of a loved one, it can also arise from other major life changes. These include ending a relationship, receiving a serious medical diagnosis, losing a job, or experiencing a significant shift in life circumstances. Grief is deeply personal and does not adhere to a clear or fixed timeline. It affects you both emotionally and physically.  Dealing with multiple types of grief is common but can become overwhelming. Recognizing the particular types of grief you're experiencing can help you process your emotions more effectively. Grief therapy offers a safe, empathetic space to process complex emotions and develop healthy coping strategies.

Navigating grief is an incredibly personal journey you don't have to face alone. If you are experiencing grief or loss and feel overwhelmed, reach out whenever you feel ready.  We are here to listen and support you.
